Különleges ruhákat vagy inkább jelmezeket láthattak a nézők azon a divatbemutatón, ahol teherautó gumi belsőkből készült kreációkat is viseltek a kifutóra lépő manökenek. A szemtanúk beszámolója alapján a kamionbelsők tökéletesen simultak a hölgyek testére.
Scientists at General Electric are taking inspiration from the tiny crevices of butterfly wings to create nanosensor technology that could detect weapons and explosives.
Three years ago GE scientists learned that the scales on butterfly wings have acute chemical-recognition abilities. The microscopic structure beneath the refractive colours on a butterfly’s wings interact with tiny traces of airborne chemicals.
After we introduced to you Marco Aurelio Gala’s vision of futuristic eco friendly car, Asterion Concept, it’s now time to introduce you with another concept, the Peugeot Hyperion. This car is designed by Marco for the 5th edition design contest 2008, and again, is an emission free vehicle. Word Hyperion comes from Greek mythology and means a titan. The design tries to crystallize the lions roaring of Peugeot brand, at the same time it gives an answer to the intention of articulating forms and shapes that’s never been used in a conventional vehicle.

The idea behind this infographic was the astonishing news that fur was 'back in fashion' and that many fur breeders in Europe were inviting top UK designers to travel over to their farms to work on the fur for their collections. They are also asking young designers to experiment with fur in their collections, something that would have been unheard of in recent years.
This graphic follows the fur trade from the animal to the buyers and through to the designers and finally the Shops that sell it. It shows just how many animal pelts it takes to make a fur coat, which animal and how this is done.

As a Londoner I am very attentive to the innovative quirks of the UK's capital, from strange elephants dotted around the city, to giant chessboards, to an oversized ship in a bottle and recently, a rather large (30m by 20m) and environmentally friendly (!) maze found right in the centre of Trafalgar Square. Much like the Queen of Heart’s maze in Wonderland, the attraction is not just aimed at confusing the puzzled wanderer; on the contrary it seeks to teach foreigners and locals alike about the pulsing heart of Theatreland; London’s West End. The idea is to encourage tourists to drop out of the ordinary tourist trail (Big Ben, Portobello and the Change of Guard) in order to be pleasantly surprised by the multitude of unwritten secrets that the metropolis’s side streets and alleyways have to offer.
